Wasif Shakeel

Wasif Shakeel is Chief Strategy Officer at Agile Defense, where he supports enterprise strategy development and planning, ensuring that our long-term priorities, performance, and transformation efforts remain tightly aligned.

Before joining Agile Defense, Wasif served as Partner/COO of XOR Security, a cyber-focused small business where he provided hands-on and leadership support to the company and its customers. He also served at Vice President of Cyber Defense at a small business which transacted to Accenture Federal Services (AFS) and formed and led the horizontal Cyber Security Solutions division for Federal Civilian at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT).  Since the beginning of his career he has focused on all aspects of cyber security operations and developed subject matter expertise across various disciplines within technical cyber operations.  He has supported customers from DHS, DOJ, DOS, CFTC, FCC, CFPB, USAF, and multiple commercial entities many of which he continues to do so through Agile Defense today.

Wasif graduated from Virginia Tech where he holds a B.S. in Management Science and Information Technlogy. He is passionate about solving complex customer issues and delivering world-class capability to his customer set through innovation and technical acumen.
