Shawn Tyrie

Shawn Tyrie serves as Chief Revenue Officer at Agile Defense, leading enterprise growth, capture strategy, and customer engagement across the federal government, defense, and intelligence communities. He is responsible for expanding market presence, strengthening strategic partnerships, and aligning Agile Defense’s solutions to mission priorities to deliver measurable results at scale.

With more than 20 years of leadership experience in the National Security, Intelligence Community, and Department of Defense sectors, Shawn brings deep expertise in program delivery, systems engineering, and enterprise technology modernization. He has a proven record of driving growth in complex, regulated environments by translating operational needs into winning strategies and sustainable outcomes.

Prior to Agile Defense, Shawn served as the Government President and Chief Growth Officer at McChrystal Group.  He also developed cloud and mission solutions within Amazon Web Services (AWS) Intelligence Community practice where he led a team of artificial intelligence and machine learning practitioners.  Prior to AWS, Shawn was an IT strategist at Gartner.  He previously served in the U.S. Army’s special operations community and as an Operations Officer in the U.S. Intelligence Community. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from Louisiana State University, a Master of Science degree in the Management of Information Technology from the University of Virginia, and is an MBA candidate at  The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
